Summer is Coming Quickly - Volunteer Now!
GECRC - Still looking for AMAZING Summer Volunteers like YOU!
As our summer program attendance continues to increase, so does GECRC's need for phenomenal volunteers like yourself! New student registration forms come in daily that continue to increase our summer attendance. In fact, as it presents GECRC may exceed our attendance goal by up to 10 students which puts our daily attendance this summer up to between 70-75 students!
We can't make this summer happen without you! Unless there is a three students to every one volunteer ratio we will not be able to provide the comprehensive literacy and life skills programs that we have in place. That means that GECRC needs up to 25-30 committed volunteers each day!
Please, consider volunteering for the summer program today! Our summer program will be held June 22nd - July 24th, Mon. - Fri. from 9:00am - 2:30pm. You're welcome to volunteer for an entire day each week or one (or more!) morning (9:00 - 11:30am) or afternoon (11:30 - 2:30pm) session per week. At this time, the days we are in most need are Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
If you or a friend are interested, please contact Jessica Rozga at 630.899.9919 or director@gecrc.org for more information! The summer just won't be the same without you!

Our first ever Volunteer of the Year award will be given presented this evening as well! Guests are asked to bring a dish to share for dinner.
Guests should R.S.V.P. with the Jessica Rozga at 630-899-9919.
English Language Learners Class needs YOUR Help!
We would first like to congratulate Rebekah Fisher, our English Language Learner facilitator on her Masters of English Language Learning! What a great accomplish and we're so pleased to have her continue offering her valuable teaching skills for us throughout our summer program.
June 1st - June 5th, Rebekah will celebrate this great accomplishment with a week off and GECRC needs your help! If you are available to volunteer an additional afternoon that week we would greatly appreciate your time and energy in filling the gap. Rebekah has prepared lesson plans for each day of the week and it's sure to be a great time of learning! If you have time to offer or any questions about what that week may look like please feel free to contact myself (director@gecrc.org) or Rebekah (renoelck@gmail.com).
